Pollution Prevention Partnership (P3)

Community Outreach at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi

Pollution P3 - Supporting Educators Through the "Supporting Educators" program we provide area teachers with training, resources and equipment, field trips for teachers and their students, technical assistance, university faculty partnerships, and guest speakers / advisors from government and industry.

Teachers in the classroom
Teachers receive "hands-on" training in a "Clean Air Challenge" air quality workshop. Air quality is a high priority in the Coastal Bend.


Flour Bluff Science Academy
Flour Bluff Science Academy students examine field gear and a computer microscope provided by the "Supporting Educators" program.



Teaching Environmental Science
Teachers receive field-based environmental education training and graduate credit in the "Teaching Environmental Science I & II" courses. Here they visit a created wetlands at Koch Refining. These are field intensive graduate credit courses for K-8 and 9-12 teachers, respectively.
