Asynchronous – Flexible time schedule. No need to log into the course at specific times! Just complete assignments by posted deadlines. Students can expect to spend approximately 9 hours per week on the course.
Class Discussion – Class discussion takes place as postings in discussion forums or via e-mail.
Grading – Grades are based on successful completion of assignments and quizzes. Many of the topics and assignments are based on the skills and products of previous assignments; there is no meaningful way to "cram."
